Fire Sprinkler Sales - Service Dept.
About the Role
This role reports to the Service Manager and is located in San Antonio, TX. AFS is looking for Fire Sprinkler Sales Estimator in our Service department for immediate opportunities. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients negotiating and closing of fire sprinkler protection sales. Must understand the sales cycle, maintain a pipeline, and forecast correctly. This position requires a team player with a positive, professional attitude and demeanor.
What you’ll do (day to day)
- Actively grow business by seeking new relationships and service opportunities.
- Produce accurate estimates and create proposals for fire sprinkler service, and upgrades.
- Work closely with the corporate sales team to assist in other markets where necessary.
- Cross-sell for other company departments.
- Maintain a high level of service and professionalism.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare proposals in accordance with company policy and in a professional and timely manner.
- Actively pursue opportunities with existing and new prospective customers to build the business.
- Take advantage of all marketing opportunities through networking and other market-related events ex: industry meetings and after-hours functions.
- Expected to meet or exceed annual, assigned sales goal/budget.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler protection.
- Must be a self-starter able to generate new business leads and identify sales opportunities.
- Must apply innovative and effective sales and project management techniques to maximize performance.
- Understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Make decisions and recommendations that affect profitability.
- Assertive personality with a progressive and positive attitude.
- Willing to call on new customers.
- Detail oriented.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to “think outside the box” and encourage creative thinking in others.
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve the Company’s overall goals.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Normal work hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00AM – 4:00PM
