Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment in a facility. Key duties include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, repairing electrical components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The technician will also assist in installing new electrical systems, conducting inspections, and updating electrical drawings and schematics. A strong understanding of electrical codes and hands-on experience with electrical systems, wiring, and equipment is essential. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and implement improvement measures.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret schematics and perform calibration tasks.
- Provide bilingual support in Mandarin and English to facilitate effective communication with diverse teams and clients.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English
- High School Degree, certifications or Bachelors' Degree with major in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Transmissions, or Automation.
- Must have at least 3-5 years' experience working with non-standard automation equipment
Skills
- Strong electrical and instrumentation (E&I) skills
- Mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers and calibration techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and utilize precision measuring instruments
- Experience with sensors, hydraulics, and high voltage systems
- Familiarity Siemens, Samsung, and Mitsubishi modules
