Additional tasks may also include cashier, food running, beverage station, bussing, cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, equipment upkeep and other related work as required.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and serving guests at their table in a fast and efficient manner with exceptional customer service.
- Follow health and safety guidelines while performing light food preparation duties.
- Provide guests with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing.
- Cashier duties may include operating a POS, accepting payment for food and beverage purchases.
- Taking orders, serving tables, and pouring wine or other beverages.
- Escalate customer concerns or complaints to management.
- Clean, organize, and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Bussing and setting tables in the restaurant and at special events.
- May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
- 2 years prior experience in restaurant serving, fine dining experience preferred.
- Able to work well with others as well as excel independently.
- Time management skills and task focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Bartending and wine pouring experience a major plus.
- Upscale event experience (weddings, galas, benefits, balls, fundraisers) highly preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, communicate effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years of age. (Required due to legal or company policy considerations.)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for entire scheduled shift.
