What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at American Food & Vending?
Pay: - Pay varies by location
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to day operations including, shipping, receiving, restock etc.
- Be a strong leader to the warehouse associates and staff.
- Follow and enforce all safety rules and policies of the warehouse.
- Oversee accurate loading/unloading of route trucks.
- Maintain inventory and stock levels efficiently and effectively.
- Regulate, maintain, and take inventory accurately.
- May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to oversee and lead a staff of warehouse workers, excellent leadership traits.
- Minimum of 3 years management experience in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task.
- Strong math skills and logical mindset.
- Motivated, driven, and independent work ethic.
- Lifting, bending, walking, driving, standing for full shift; must be able to lift 40lbs.
