Intern, Public Policy

This internship will provide meaningful work experience and a thorough overview of how American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) plays a vital role in promoting an industry and its sustainability initiatives.
Support our dynamic public policy team by:
- Assisting with research projects related to environment and climate, sustainability, safety, energy and other relevant policy areas
- Identifying and tracking industry and research trends
- Monitoring bills and regulatory developments
- Drafting and editing communications and multimedia presentations
AF&PA's internships are intended to:
- Provide valuable work experience in areas of interest and study
- Allow individuals to learn about the essential and sustainable work of the forest products industry
- Provide exposure to the various disciplines within AF&PA, the public policy world and the industry
- Expose interns to professionals in their field of study and other disciplines
Compensation:
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week, for 8 weeks
