Position Overview:
As an onsite Tier 2 Helpdesk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and solutions to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving complex technical issues related to Windows operating systems and server-based applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Level 2 Helpdesk Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022).
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Hyper-V, Azure, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certifications as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified: Windows 10/11 are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Windows-based environments.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate, escalate, and prioritize issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
- Document support cases, processes and solutions for knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices.
The Position:
- On-Site Full Time 40 Hour Work Week
- Day Shift Hours 7:45am-4:45pm Monday-Friday, and on call Saturday
