What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Security Administrator position at American Fuji Seal?
The IT Security Administrator will manage, monitor, and administer security over the companys computer network. The primary function of this role is to ensure that the network is secured from any internal or external security threats and incidents.
Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Serve as primary point of authority for security related products
- Proactively mitigating information security risks and response to current security risks
- Develops, analyzes and maintains security systems and makes recommendations for changes and improvements to minimize overall security risks
- Drives user education and provides necessary materials to support
- Develop process enhancement strategies and recommend improvements to minimize overall security risks
- Maintain the health, compliance and routine configuration of security software solutions and directories (AD/Azure/Antivirus/etc.)
- Develop and deliver end-user security training, notifications, updates, etc.
- Maintain operating system and software updates
- Research and mitigate recent and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Coordinate with the Network and Systems Administrators on maintaining core infrastructure security
- Coordinate with external security partners to routinely assess and maintain the IT Security Program
- Proactively audit Active Directory, File Servers, and Office 365 logs, etc. with security tools to identify suspicious/dangerous behavior
- Use company tools and resources to audit, assess, and recommend information security tightening initiatives and coordinate with other IT team members to implement said initiatives to completion
- Prepare action plans if a security breach occurs.

Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience with 1-3 years experience in maintaining and supporting a Microsoft environment
- IT Security certification (Security , SSCP, etc.) or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Able to move and lift to 50 lbs.
- Able to reach and bend
Travel Required:
- Ability to travel 10% domestic
