Summary
Madison Precision Products, Inc., a tier-one automotive parts supplier to Honda of America in Madison, Indiana is seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:
IT Assistant Manager
Experienced Information Technology professional with a service oriented attitude. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a broad range of disciplines including: networking, hardware, project management, administrative and budgeting, with an understanding of application/web programming and design.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Management/Supervisory experience in an IT/MIS department preferably in support of manufacturing operations. This includes supervision of:
- Documenting and maintaining a log of all company computers and computer related equipment to include: servers, notebooks, printers, switches, routers, etc.
- Configuring, installing and supporting desktop and network hardware (switches, routers, etc).
- Working with other departments to troubleshoot and/or resolve network and application availability and performance problems during business hours and on a 24x7 on-call basis.
- Customizing existing programs and/or write new programs to address user requests.
- Project Management
- 5 – 8 years IT Infrastructure experience
- Good understanding of Cyber Security and audit best practices.
- Thorough understanding of Cisco networking devices a must
- Capability to analyze existing computer platforms, recommend improvements and implement system upgrades to improve efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple IT projects to successful completion.
- Maintain networking solutions using best practices for availability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure and document that all software licensing is current and compliant per vendor licensing agreement. This must be done across all platforms (desktop and servers).
- Develops and documents operational procedures for supported systems, including implementation processes, troubleshooting and support procedures.
- Provides planning, leadership, direction, training, and advanced technical expertise regarding network services serves as high-level technical expert in regards to computer/network systems and associated issues.
- Proactive management of technical systems to ensure commitment to meeting all business needs.
- Work with all levels of the organization focusing on customer satisfaction, uptime, and quality of service, ongoing monitoring of operating environment.
- Experience with Windows server based data systems, C# applications and MS SQL databases and scripting a plus.
- Run SQL queries to provide ad hoc reports for management.
- Aid in the design and implementation of lineside and vision system, capturing and download of data into the lot control database.
Requirements
· Associates degree, or higher, in Information Technology preferred.
· Microsoft, Cisco, PMP, or other industry certifications preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
