What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generator Technician position at American Generators Sales and Service?
American Generators is seeking a qualified generator technician who is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, shop and field repairs on generators of all makes and models, in a variety of sizes, as well as providing excellent customer service. Generator technicians will troubleshoot commercial and residential diesel/natural gas generators including automatic transfer switches, batteries, and load bank testing.

This position is intended for someone who can take control of projects and complete them with minimal supervision. You must be able to follow directions exactly as they are given.
Required Experience/ Qualifications:
- Generator/Engine Troubleshooting Experience (MINIMUM 1 YEAR)
- Valid Driver’s License with Excellent Driving Record
- Honest and Positive Work Ethic
- Exceptional Communication Skills with the Ability to Provide Accurate Written/Verbal Reports of Job Status
- Precisely Follows Safety Procedures
