American Hardwood Industries (AHI), one of the largest hardwood platforms in North America, is a leading supplier of hardwood logs, lumber and wood countertops to markets around the world. Our Blue Triangle location in Everett, PA is looking to add a Maintenance Manager.
This role is a key working member of the plant team and is responsible for providing leadership in maintenance, safety, project planning, quality, performance, and employee engagement. The Maintenance Manager will have at least six direct reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong industrial maintenance background to join a world class lumber organization.

Day shift 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM
Responsibilities :
Development of the maintenance staff and function toward Total Productive Maintenance
Accountable to management of two company divisions on site to investigate, evaluate, plan and implement continuous improvement toward a LEAN integrated maintenance system
Scheduling maintenance activities
Allocating maintenance resources
Harnessing and enhancing CMMS capabilities
Participating in CI visioning and weekly management performance meetings
Leading maintenance performance toward OEE targets
Qualifications :
At least 10 years maintenance / plant engineering experience in production environment
At least 5 years' experience managing a team of at least five direct reports
OSHA - Safety, at least understand the facility rules. LOTO, PPE, & machinery safety
Welding, at minimum stick welding experience
Sawmill equipment alignment
Fabrication skills
Ability to read and understand a blueprint
Hydraulic trouble shooting
Computer skills with maintenance systems
Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics / drawings and experience with programmable industrial drives and troubleshooting skills
Project management capability
Ability to communicate effectively up and down the organizational hierarchy
Ability to define, collect, research, analyze and report data-based maintenance performance
