Duties/Responsibilities:
- Champions the US Radiology Way in daily activities
- Greet patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner
- Ensures accuracy of patient data entered in the RIS
- Ensures smooth daily operations by resolving performance issues and ensuring appropriate scheduling of center staff
- Ensures patient throughput by completing pre-visit patient care and on-site patient preparation activities as needed
- Acts as point of escalation for concerns and challenges from patients and referring physicians
- Manages center(s) within a single geographic area
- Develops and fosters referring physician relationships
- Maintains positive working relationships with joint venture partnerships, if applicable
- Acts as the owner of the P&L with responsibility for escalating issues and concerns
- Develops, reviews, and implements action plans based on financial reporting to enhance center performance
- Manages contrast coverage and corresponding radiologist schedules
- Attends training to stay up to date on best practices and protocols
- Implements and manages the training and onboarding program for new associates
- Participates in the staff planning and hiring process for new associates
- Leads regular team and department meetings and employee one-on-ones
- Monitors and approves timecards on a daily or weekly basis
- Leads, initiates, and participates in annual performance evaluations, development and performance management of associates
- Establishes associate schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverage
- Evaluates, implements, and manages workflow and process improvements for the department
- Ensures the department has knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in place
- Supports employees ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction
- Develops methods for measuring and monitoring team and department performance
- Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
- Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience working in healthcare environment
- 2-3 years of previous people management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office; including excel

- Requires computer related activities for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write and key
