American Heritage Lending, LLC located in Irvine CA is looking for a Mortgage Appraisal Desk position.

Position Overview:
Appraisal Desk position will work directly with the Appraisal Department team processing appraisal orders from entry through reception as well as assisting with any subsequent revision requests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for organizing, tracking, and responding to appraisal requests in a timely manner.
- Manage the data input from completed reports and updates from the third-party vendors.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations
- Verify that all appraisal processes comply with Appraiser Independence Requirements (AIR), Dodd-Frank Act, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
- Maintain adherence to investor and lender guidelines.
- Track progress of the appraisal orders and ensure the Appraisal Management Companies are performing up to expected service levels.
- Serve as a liaison between the Appraisers, Lenders, Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriters.
- Follow up on borrower engagement and payment statuses.
- Gather Market Data and Comparables:
- Research sales data, market trends, and neighborhood statistics.
- Select and analyze comparable properties for valuation purposes.

Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- 2 years’ experience in residential mortgage
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent documentation and process mapping skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Strong team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative
- Non-QM, DSCR, RTL experience preferred
