Position Overview : As a Life Enrichment Director, youll be responsible for curating and implementing engaging programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents. From coordinating guest entertainers to organizing outings, your creativity and passion will make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Development :
Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to create monthly activity programs based on the Seven Dimensions of Wellness Model.
- Incorporate emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual experiences into daily activities.
- Execute signature programs that enhance residents quality of life.
Community Engagement :
Cultivate positive relationships with external organizations, vendors, and venues.
Logistics and Coordination :
Manage guest entertainers, speakers, and vendors.
Technology Integration :
Utilize modern technologies to enhance program offerings.
Financial Management :
Handle department petty cash and / or credit card transactions.
Qualifications :
Degree in Recreational Therapy, Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist, or Certified Activity Director (experience may be substituted).
