What you’ll be doing :
- Providing employment law advice and counseling to CARFAX leadership and the Human Resources team on a broad range of issues, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, wage and hour requirements, terminations, internal investigations, compensation, benefits, privacy, immigration and employee classification.
- Drafting and refining employment-related documents and agreements to align with best practices, including offer letters, employment agreements, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and policies that affect employees.
- Advising on internal investigations, partnering with investigators, reviewing investigation debriefs and reports and advising on investigation processes and training programs.
- Partnering with Human Resources on building processes for ensuring proper and consistent application of federal and state laws, rules and regulations as well as CARFAX policies, processes and procedures.
- Supervising compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations and CARFAX policies.
- Monitoring legislation, regulations, case law, government enforcement activities and emerging trends in labor and employment law to proactively provide advice to CARFAX leadership and the Human Resources team.
