They must be comfortable working in a construction environment and be able to effectively connect and communicate with studentsResponsibilities : Servers as a liaison to develop partnerships between local schools and Allan Myers Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential candidates Attend career fairs and school functions to promote career opportunities with Allan Myers Assist with teaching classes with a local pre-apprenticeship program Work with Director of Talent Acquisition to develop student recruitment strategies Help develop students through internships and work-based learning programs Regularly speak / present in front of large groupsQualifications : Bachelor's degree preferred, not required Teaching experience and understanding of the school system preferred Marketing background is a plus Knowledge of Construction industry a plus. Must have strong interpersonal skills & the ability to connect with counselors & students Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and SharePoint. Must enjoy and be comfortable speaking in public Passion for working with and developing students Must possess time-management and effective communication (verbal / written) skills. Willingness to learn various software applications.
