Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Admission Representative to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing them with essential information about our programs and helping them make informed decisions about their educational journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to supporting students in achieving their academic goals. An understanding and passion for alternative/holistic healthcare is preferred.
This position requires a minimum of two days working on campus, and some evening work, which can be done remote.
NOTE: We are a small college and Health Insurance is not provided.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, texts, and in-person meetings.
- Educate potential applicants about the college's programs, admission requirements, and campus resources.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and follow up as necessary.
- Schedules and conducts a tour of the facility with prospective students.
- Professionally assists prospective students through the admissions process by phone or by email, in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations, school policies and procedures, and in compliance with all accrediting standards and requirements.
- Follow up with candidates daily/weekly as required
- Requests necessary documents, forms and open checklist items required in a timely manner
- Attend quarterly open house events and sends out invites through direct email.
- Able to work proficiently work with spreadsheets, systems, and track data as required
Experience
- Previous experience in recruiting or admissions is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with education administration processes is advantageous.
- Strong public speaking skills and comfort presenting information to groups.
- Experience working with students in an academic setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of student information systems is a plus.
- Have a genuine passion for holistic approaches to healthcare.
