What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Operator position at American Iron and Metal?
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Newmarket Ontario from MondaySaturday starting at 8 : 00am . As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating the crane to lift move position and place materials safely and efficiently.
What youre responsible for :
- Safely operate a crane to lift move and position metal materials within the facility
- Lift and transport metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipment
- Load and unload trucks and containers ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members supervisors and other personnel
- Conduct pre and post inspections of the crane including overall crane maintenance
- You may be asked to operator the following heavy equipment : Crane Shear Loader
