Role: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Spring, TX 77386 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Experienced Senior Project Manager with a minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience to plan, lead, manage, communicate, and coordinate project tasks, resources, deliverables, issues logs, scope logs, weekly timesheets, expense reports, vendor invoices, and all other administrative documentation on an ongoing basis.
Knowledge:
Mastery of project management methodology, tools and templates.
Mastery of PMI Project Management Methodology.
Proficient in use of MS Project (2013).
Knowledge in MS Project Server (On-Line) as a user is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office products included but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus.
Knowledge in standard SDLC and platform deployment methodologies is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Specific duties will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, project budget, and resource needs for one or more projects simultaneously.
Organize and secure required resources, coordinate project activities, monitor project budgets, manage and resolve project issues throughout the duration of the project.
Support projects from initiation through closure including phases such as requirements, design, build/configure, test, deploy, implementation and training.
Respond to execution issues and information requests within defined areas of responsibility while progressing on project work.
Prepare regular weekly and monthly status reports on all project activities, budgets, and resources.
Escalate issues for resolution and key decisions needed to maintain the project timeline.
Facilitate the creation and performance of meetings including but not limited to scheduling, documenting of meeting minutes, action items, issues, and risks.
Communication of all aspects of the project including but not limited to project schedule, scope, deliverables, budget, resources, and quality.
Coordination of activities such as requirements elicitation, Cut over sessions, build / architecture reviews, budget design, budget approval, testing, training, migration, and implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
Education: Bachelor s degree in MIS or related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of Project Management Skills
