Role Description
Join our dynamic team as a Category Manager, where you’ll spearhead the strategic management of turbines, generators, and other vital categories. Your mission will be to craft and implement innovative category strategies, master cost control, and conduct thorough market research. Together, we’ll drive the continuous improvement and optimization of our supply chain and procurement processes, ensuring a future of success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Category Strategy Development: Craft and execute dynamic strategic plans for turbines, generators, and other designated categories, ensuring they seamlessly integrate with the organization’s vision and mission. Forge innovative short- and long-term strategies to enhance category performance and maximize value.
- Cost Control: Take charge of optimizing and slashing expenses for the categories you oversee. Uncover innovative cost-saving avenues, engage in strategic negotiations with suppliers, and roll out cost-effective solutions that maintain the highest quality standards.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Dive deep into market research to keep a pulse on emerging trends, groundbreaking supplier innovations, and dynamic competitor strategies. Leverage market intelligence to power strategic decisions and consistently stay ahead in your designated categories.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Forge and nurture dynamic partnerships with essential suppliers to secure dependable and budget-friendly product and service procurement. Assess supplier performance and skillfully navigate contract negotiations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with departments such as operations, procurement, engineering, and finance to seamlessly execute category strategies and drive the company toward its goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of category strategies. Keep senior management in the loop with regular updates, showcasing performance metrics, market trends, and innovative plans to boost category performance.
Qualifications
