What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at American Landmaster?
Landmaster UTVs are built from the ground up in Columbia City, IN. We start with raw steel made in the USA, then fabricate, bend, and weld the steel to produce a quality frame that provides 360° rollover protection. That frame is then powder coated by our own in-house paint department. All assembly is done here on the premises as well. We are a team that takes pride in our UTV from start to finish. Our mentality is to work hard every day, continually improve our product, and listen to our customers’ and dealers’ feedback at every step of the way. We strive to use local suppliers and domestic products to build our UTVs.
We are looking for one 1st shift (6am - 4:30 pm Mon - Thurs) material handler to move materials and supply parts to our assembly lines. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety as well as moving inventory in our ERP system. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials from the dock vehicles and move to assigned areas
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Keep updated records of inventory using a tablet
- Comply with company policies and safety guidelines
Skills
- 2 years proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
