JOB TITLE: Sprayer - Furniture Manufacturing
DEPARTMENT: Spring Up
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Spring Up Manager/Plant Manager
LOCATION: Plant 3: Newton NC
Schedule: M – Th 6:00 am – 4:30 PM
Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis.
SUMMARY
- Spraying even coats of stain, sealer, and lacquer over multiple surfaces of assembled furniture
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brush, spray, or hand-rub finishing ingredients, onto and into furniture wood grain; then apply lacquer or other sealers as directed to the furniture. Adjust nozzles on the spray guns to obtain the proper dispersion of the spray.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 2-3 years’ experience with spray furniture
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to understand information on the production ticket
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work with little supervision
- Detailed oriented
EFFORTS:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work full time
- Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time min 10-12 hours
