Director of Reimbursement / Clinical Service - LTC

Overseeing multiple facilities throughout Western Tennessee bordering Kentucky

Salary : $120K - $150K Range ; Based on experience

Qualifications  of the Director of Reimbursement / Clinical Services :

  • Associates degree or greater from an accredited college
  • Unencumbered RN license in the state in which we operate
  • Must have experience as an MDS Coordinator in a skilled nursing / long-term care setting
  • Must have regional MDS experience
  • Must know MDS 3.0
  • Must be willing / able to travel
  • Must be very skilled in PDPM and CMI
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities of the Director of Reimbursement / Clinical Services :

  • Oversee several skilled nursing facilities to ensure accurate MDS completion.
  • Coordinate MDS / RAI within a transdisciplinary approach to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • Assist with monitoring and overseeing the SNF / LTC units to assure state and federal regulations are followed.
  • Ensure utilization of interdisciplinary rehab team process in the formulation of MDS / RAI's.
  • Observe direct nursing care, review documentation and make appropriate recommendations, assist with chart audits.
  • Provide clinical support and direct to appropriate resource materials.
  • Communicate well with clients, their significant others and various other professionals to facilitate high quality client care.
  • Ensure planning and implementation of appropriate nursing assessment and care programs.
  • Assist staff, as necessary, by administering direct client care according to ANA standards and hospital nursing procedures and standards.
