Salary: $55K - $65K; Depending on experience
Job Qualifications of a Director of Social Services:
- Must have a MSW or LMSW
- Must have experience as a Director of Social Services in a nursing home setting
- Must have some knowledge and understanding of PDPM
- Must have strong organizational and case management abilities
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Responsibilities of a Director of Social Services:
- Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
- Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
- Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population
