Stage Manager (Part-Time)

AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. The Stage Manager at the Los Angeles campus will assist with managing theatre events as assigned (stage managers receive offers on a ‘per show’ basis).

Primary Responsibilities

• Attendance is required at all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances
• Liaison between student performers and artistic/production staff
• Create and distribute rehearsal and performance reports
• Record blocking and taking notes at production meetings
• Most rehearsals are anticipated to be conducted on weeknights (some weekend days may also be needed) during the upcoming spring semester.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) or comparable educational or professional experience
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in stage management
  
  

Position Information

• Schedule for this role is based on department needs
• The pay range for this position is $28/hour - $35/hour
• This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
• This is a fully in-person Position.
