Position Title: Collateral and Final Doc Specialist (In person/remote hybrid)

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a full time, hybrid Collateral and Final Doc Specialist to be responsible for obtaining and shipping Original Notes and Allonges to Warehouse banks/Investors, managing Intake of files, and obtaining and reviewing Final Documents. Candidates should have experience directly or indirectly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the Post Closing Manager, the accountabilities and job activities of the Collateral and Final Doc Specialist position include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Original Notes
- Ensure all Original Notes are received within 48 hours of disbursement to avoid curtailments
- Use Aged Note Report to follow up on all notes more than 48 hours disbursed and not rec’d
- Use Aged Note Report to follow up on all loans that the package has been received but the Original Note has not
- Ensure all Original Notes are executed properly
- signed by all required parties
- dated appropriately
- Maintain daily manifest for Notes rec’d and Notes shipped
- Responsible for all Allonges to Notes
- Responsible to ship all Original Notes to Warehouse Banks/Investors
- Ensure all Original Notes are received within 48 hours of disbursement to avoid curtailments
- Intake and Full Audits
- Manage the Snapdocs uploads with Title
- Assist Intake Team with audits and maintaining shared email
- Do precursory review audits
- Review emails
- Delegate emails
- Assist with Full Audits
- Final Docs
- Receive daily mail and logging into Excel spreadsheet
- Review docs for aging (anything over 120 goes to Post Closing Sr. Final Doc Specialist) using Pipeline queues
- Send all documents to third party vendor with coversheet for review/scan/upload
- Maintain and clear reports that are sent by our investors for outstanding Final Docs and/or corrections
- Work closely with Post Closing Sr. Final Doc Specialist daily and on special projects assigned by management to assist with MSR sales and holdback reconciliations
Qualifications

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the mortgage industry (1 year minimum)
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work with a high volume of documents in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of the Company
- Must have excellent listening skills and be able to handle multiple requests while detailing document activity
- Ability to bend and pull files and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to alphabetize
- Ability to sit for long periods
- Work Overtime when necessary
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. Ability to bend and lift boxes approximately 35 lbs. and may have to spend hours pulling boxes and filing.
