We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and deter suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to incidents on-site.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in surveillance/ security operations or loss prevention is a plus.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques; certification is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
