Job Description
The Weld Process Technician works closely with the Weld, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to optimize and improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of current welding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze weld processes for opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity through training, manufacturing, and design updates.
- Implement and maintain weld process sheets for each item to document standards and procedures.
- Develop and maintain weld team skill matrix for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Collaborate with APC Automation Engineer for weld automation projects.
Requirements:
- 5 Years experience in TIG Welding required.
- 2 years of Laser welding experience required.
- Weld fixturing experience preferred.
Education:
- High School graduate or GED.
