Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the American Philatelic Society as its Executive Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, programs, and financing to support the organization's mission, its membership, and the philatelic community. This position requires a strong leader with experience in non-profit management and a deep understanding of philatelic operations.

Key Responsibilities
The Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of the APS, including managing staff, developing partnerships, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the APS's mission and goals
• Managing a team of staff and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery
• Fostering partnerships with other organizations and stakeholders to advance the interests of the APS
• Representing the APS at national and international events

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, nonprofit management)
• At least seven years of professional experience in management, preferably in a non-profit organization
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A deep understanding of philatelic operations and the ability to develop strategies to promote stamp collecting

Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 – $200,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
