Position Overview:
As a Technical Trainer at American Pipelining Supplies, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to internal teams, contractors, and customers. Your goal will be to ensure that all stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate and maintain equipment and systems offering by American Pipelining Supplies effectively and safely. You will create training materials, conduct hands-on training, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
✅ Proven experience in trenchless pipelining, plumbing systems or related technical field.
✅ Previous experience in a technical training or instructor role is highly desirable.
✅ Strong knowledge of trenchless technologies, pipe rehabilitation methods, and plumbing systems.
✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
✅ Ability to develop details training materials, including manuals, guides, and visual aids.
✅ Ability to engage and motivate trainees to ensure maximum learning and retention.
✅ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
✅ Relevant certifications in the trenchless pipelining or plumbing field (e.g., NASSCO, IAPMO, etc.) are highly preferred.
✅ Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
✅ Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
✅ Willingness to travel to job sites or client locations as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
✅ Develop, design, and deliver technical training programs related to trenchless pipelining, plumbing systems, and the tools and technologies used in these fields.
✅ Conduct both classroom-based and hands-on training sessions to ensure trainees understand both the theoretical and practical aspects of the trenchless techniques and methods.
✅ Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to stay informed about new products, technologies, and updates in our industry.
✅ Create and maintain up-to-date training materials, manuals, and resources both internal teams and external clients.
✅ Assess the technical skill level of trainees, provide feedback, and implement any required follow-up training or one-on-one coaching.
✅ Work closely with safety officers to ensure all training meets safety standards and industry regulations.
✅ Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and refine them for continuous improvement.
✅ Travel to project sites or customer locations as needed to provide on-site training and support.
✅ Support troubleshooting and technical assistance in the field, helping teams understand and resolve issues with complex projects.
✅ Stay current with industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies related to trenchless pipelining and plumbing.
