American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Human Resources Manager for our Simpsonville, SC location. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities :
- Recruitment for direct labor positions
- Conduct interviews, process background checks, employment authorizations and conduct new hire orientation
- Process weekly timekeeping and maintain attendance calendars
- Research and investigate employee issues or concerns, consults with management, and coordinate necessary action to bring appropriate resolution
- Review disciplinary action and termination documents, taking appropriate partners as necessary
- Maintain active and terminated personnel files
- Assist in Bureau of Workers Compensation Cases
- Provide support between employee and operations to approve weekly timesheets
- Coordinate and distribute reporting on labor and hiring to Management
- Other duties as assigned by Management
