Job Summary: 

The Director of Marketing and Creative Services will spearhead the company’s digital marketing department and develop creative strategies that ensure alignment with APM’s revenue objectives and brand identity. This role combines strategic marketing oversight with creative direction, focusing on optimizing team workflows, building capabilities, and delivering innovative campaigns. Working closely with the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), the leader will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic priorities and fostering alignment across departments. This senior leadership position combines strategic marketing oversight with creative direction, requiring a unique blend of analytical and creative skills. 


Strategic Leadership 

  • Develop and execute the company’s digital marketing strategy to support company objectives. 
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative digital marketing strategies and creative campaigns 
  • Drive innovation by encouraging the use of new creative tools, formats, and platforms to enhance the brand’s online presence. 
  • Oversee rebranding initiatives for websites, aligning them with B2B and B2C needs. 
  • Allocate marketing budgets effectively across campaigns and tools to maximize ROI. 

Campaign Oversight 

  • Plan and execute impactful marketing campaigns that drive measurable results and align with the company’s strategic objectives. 
  • Ensure campaigns align with the company’s brand identity and business objectives. 
  • Collaborate with sales and other departments to support key initiatives and special projects. 

Team Leadership 

  • Lead and inspire the marketing team, align roles and skills with company goals and maintain a modern in-house digital marketing department. 
  • Empower team members through mentorship, clear direction, and professional development. 
  • Foster a collaborative culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and growth. 

Creative Direction 

  • Lead brainstorming sessions to develop innovative and impactful marketing materials. 
  • Provide creative briefs to guide campaign objectives, target audiences, and messaging. 
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials, from digital assets to presentations. 

Process Optimization and Automation 

  • Transition key marketing tasks in-house, reducing reliance on external vendors. 
  • Streamline workflows to improve campaign execution and asset management. 
  • Implement tools and systems to automate workflows and enhance team productivity. 

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment 

  • Partner with the CIO and other leadership to align marketing efforts with company objectives. 
  • Build strong relationships across teams to drive alignment and achieve shared goals. 
  • Provide tailored materials and strategies to support account acquisition and retention. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 8 years of experience in digital marketing and creative direction, with a focus on strategy development and campaign execution. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing and leading marketing teams 
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to align team structures with business objectives. 
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism. 
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite), digital marketing platforms and creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments. 
  • Expertise in rebranding, multi-vertical campaigns, and marketing analytics. 
  • Familiarity with automating workflows and integrating marketing with CRM systems.
