Position Overview
Our agency client is looking to hire a Digital Creative Director to lead a small team of creatives. This is a hybrid (3 days a week in office), full-time direct hire position with the goal of starting in March 2025. Candidates must be local to the Detroit Metro to be considered.
The Digital Creative Director will be responsible for leading all digital deliverables across motion graphics, presentation design, films, and interactive experiences. In addition, this role will take charge of specific projects involving spatial design and visual identity design. As a key player on the creative team, this individual will work closely with C-level executives and lead new business pitches while ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions are delivered on time. Your mission is to influence and execute the visual ambition of projects, with creative excellence - imagining and delivering extraordinary experiences that have a world-class visual aesthetic. You will lead a team of in-house print and digital designers, as well as engaging with freelance designers, art directors, animators, directors and artists, working with agility and consistency across all clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative team in the development of digital campaigns and brand strategies.
- Conceptualize and design high-quality digital content that aligns with the overall brand vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design across all digital platforms.
- Oversee the execution of digital projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- 8 years of experience as a graphic designer, ideally supporting experiential experiences for automotive brands
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a leadership role with a portfolio showcasing branding and experiential projects.
- Strong skills in digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Cinema 4D.
- Experience in experiential design and creating interactive user experiences.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
