Project Manager
Overview:
We’re hiring a detail-driven Project Manager to support and organize company-wide APM initiatives—from sales and marketing campaigns to strategic “special projects” initiated by the CEO. This role is essential to driving clarity, consistency, and follow-through across the business. You’ll be responsible for managing the lifecycle of many projects at once, helping the team stay aligned, deadlines stay visible, and move forward efficiently and effectively.
Project Ownership & Lifecycle Management
• Support project kickoffs by organizing information, tracking scope, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with leadership
• Build clear roadmaps and maintain shared tracking in Microsoft Teams / Planner
• Manage overlapping initiatives across departments without losing sight of details
• Coordinate inputs and follow-through across marketing, sales, ops, and leadership
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards before reaching executive review
Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Translate CEO and leadership direction into clear project plans
• Recap discussions with action items and next steps
• Flag changes, risks, or obstacles with proactive solutions
• Keep all departments aligned on project goals, roles, and schedules
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment through regular team check-ins, shared documentation, and the consistent use of collaborative tools like Microsoft Teams, Planner, and Outlook calendars
Workflow Optimization & Prioritization
• Introduce structure to project flow: intake, timelines, checkpoints, reviews
• Maintain version control and consistent file naming practices
• Help ensure changes are integrated smoothly without creating rework
• Serve as the go-to for project visibility, tracking, and task coordination
• Identify and manage risks early; coordinate mitigation plans to keep timelines and priorities intact
• Establish and uphold quality control steps to ensure all deliverables are accurate, on-brand, and aligned with project scope
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 4–6 years managing fast-paced, multi-project environments (experience in small business or startup settings is a plus)
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Planner, and the Microsoft Office Suite for task tracking, documentation, and reporting
• Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Mailchimp, or AI platforms such as Scribe or ChatGPT is a bonus
• Certified CAPM or PMP highly desirable; candidates without certification may be considered if they demonstrate comparable project management expertise
