The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is seeking a Senior Process Mapping Business Analyst (Sr Process Mapping BA) to join our Project Management team. This full-time position is considered hybrid with some onsite requirements in our Mendota Heights, Minnesota office.
The Sr Process Mapping BA is responsible for analyzing, mapping and optimizing business processes within our organization. This role will examine business processes and workflows to find out how to improve and/or automate the process. The Sr Process Mapping BA will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and improve business processes, drive operational efficiency, and promote continuous process improvement by facilitating process workshops and documenting any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct thorough analysis and assessment of existing business processes across our departments and functions.
- Be an informal leader in organizing the analysis efforts, partnering with key stakeholders on findings and outcomes.
- Recommend and utilize process mapping techniques and tools to visually represent workflows, process steps, inputs, outputs, and decision points accurately.
- Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams that accurately represent current and future states.
- Recommend future-focused opportunities for process improvement while recognizing and supporting current state processes.
- Facilitate and be responsible for workshops and meetings to engage stakeholders and gather requirements for process improvement projects.
- Identify key performance indicators and develop metrics to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Be an influencer to introduce and evolve a mindset of process mapping and Lean within the organization, via several methods including demonstrating competency in process mapping and in identifying improvement opportunities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to people in various roles across the company, including business-based subject matter experts, in process mapping techniques and methodologies.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Remain up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to process mapping and improvement.
- May lead process improvement initiatives by applying Lead Six Sigma principles and methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and optimize performance.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong expertise in process mapping methodologies, tools and techniques, such as value stream mapping, swim lane diagrams, and BPMN.
- Knowledge and awareness of Lean Six Sigma principles, tools, and techniques.
- Stakeholder management with prior history of excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated proficiency in process analysis and process mapping tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills, including public speaking, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to both process executors and business leaders.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and drive change within an organization.
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft products including Excel, Visio, and Word.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, related field or equivalent industry experience.
- 7 years of experience in process mapping, business process improvement, or related roles.
- Experience in leading process initiatives.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or Lean Six Sigma
- Business operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Experience supporting Organizational Change Management (OCM)
- Business Process Mapping (BPM) professional certification

Salary range is $92,623 to $108,969 annually.
