Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Claims Authorization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary authorizations for home warranty services are obtained efficiently and accurately.
The ARW Home Offline Authorization Associate will be responsible for:
- Providing the highest level of service to our customers by being professional, courteous and creating a positive experience for each customer.
- Completing assigned offline tasks to create records of First Notice of Loss
- Making outbound calls to capture relevant information as needed and explain contract coverage and claim decisions.
- Making outbound calls on survey response follow ups regarding claim status and providing an update or taking action to move the job along the claim cycle.
- Reviewing and capturing data entry of incoming service reports or supporting documentation from customers to determine claim resolution.
- Using the company guidelines and knowledge of the contracts to determine appropriate claim decision and customer follow up.
- Demonstrating superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Meeting or exceeding all established Key Performance Indicators
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous claims authorization experience, preferably with a home warranty company.
- Claims experience or basic technical knowledge of appliances and HVAC (mechanical skills) is BIG PLUS!
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
