Description : IT SYSTEMS ADMINSTRATOR HARLEY-DAVIDSON American Road Group is seeking a Systems Administration – IT Help Desk to support our Harley-Davidson locations. This position will be located at Adventure Harley-Davidson in Dover, OH.
Summary Description
Supervises day-to-day operations of the help desk ticket system. Identifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problems. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Excellent customer service focus, communication skills and strong troubleshooting skills. Works directly with Director of IT on implementing innovations to organization technology offerings
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to ticket system to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
- Write training articles for knowledge base.
- Train users on general office computer usage.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems through updates, installations, or addressing security alerts.
- Assist with onboarding and provisioning new hires.
- Monitor and / or resolve network problems with WAN, LAN, SDWAN, WLAN for multiple locations.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
- Install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, manage users, and upgrade Microsoft Active Directory.
