Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Wage Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Assistant will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role involves packaging products, maintaining accurate records, and working with logistics systems to process shipments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Package and label products accurately for shipment.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments using logistics systems such as UPS, FedEx, and BlueGrace.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials safely.
• Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly as needed.
• Build crates and handle custom packaging requirements.
• Maintain inventory records and verify product specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good computer skills, including experience with logistics websites (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret product specifications.
• Forklift driving experience is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and remain on feet for long periods.
• Crate-building experience is a plus.
