Seeking an experienced Training Professional
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Must be willing to work weekends and travel outside local area
- Coordinate with Training Director for selecting programs & courses to instruct
- Constantly improve presentation skills to better deliver programs & courses
- Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary
- Constantly improve training skills, including but not limited to; individual questions, group discussions, etc.
- Conduct safety classes in live classroom or shop environment, which includes starting on time, delivering all course material in an effective manner, and ending on time
- Administer testing according to requirements
- Submit all paperwork in a timely manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Training Director
- Be the Safety Professional at all times on or off location
- Adhere to all American Safety Services Inc. policy and procedures.
- Perform all job duties in alignment with American Safety Services Inc. professional standards.
- Other duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to read and understand regulations, customer safety programs, and write procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to lead peers
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess current training certificates
- Preferred Associate Degree in Occupational Health & Safety sciences or higher or minimum of 2-years' experience in professional training position.
- Valid driver license with a clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must live locally (25-mile radius of Midland/Odessa)
