Our company now includes more than 120 family-owned and operated stores. As a Divisional Director, you are a part of this family and critical to our success. This role is responsible for talent, operations, customer / brand experience, and overall profitability in a division that consists of multiple markets. This person is a leader and coach, and a champion of our culture and values. The Divisional Director reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

What your day will look like :

  • Develops and leads a team of Market Leaders providing leadership, direction, and continued coaching and feedback.
  • Drives a high-performance culture that achieves results.
  • Owns the results of the Division’s P&L, driving sales while managing the bottom line.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to build the annual sales and profit budget.
  • Analyzes results and proposes plans to achieve targets and ensure continuous improvement of business objectives.
  • Executes plans and delivers results against the company’s long-term strategy.
  • Inspires and motivates teams on the company’s Game Plan.
  • Ensures the execution of the merchandising experience throughout the Division.
  • Oversees the implementation and continued execution of all selling and delivery initiatives.
  • Holds teams accountable to operational standards.
  • Monitors the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks, recommend strategies and tactics for current and future stores.
  • Works closely with cross-functional partners to execute plans, remove obstacles, and provide resources to support stores.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor‘s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of multi-unit retail leadership experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents including profit and loss statements.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and team members.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop, and retain best-in-class talent across a multi-unit environment.
  • Proficient using business-related technology systems.
  • Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems.
  • Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities.
  • Experience managing change in large and complex environments.
  • Ability to break down complex ideas and communicate them in simple and easy-to-understand ways.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others to higher levels of performance in a remote work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a multi-unit leadership role.
  • Desire to continuously improve.
