The Assistant Professor will focus on Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematology / Oncology Programs, contributing approximately 50% to clinical service and 50% to academic pursuits. This position is a joint appointment with Fred Hutch, the University of Washington (UW), and Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH).
The selected individual is expected to contribute to outstanding clinical care and excellence in clinical research related to pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation, with a focus on transplantation for malignant conditions, immunotherapy, or other relevant areas.
Fred Hutch is an independent, nonprofit organization providing cancer treatment and groundbreaking research. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation and an active clinical research interest, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications. Applicants must have an MD and / or DO degree and US board certification in Pediatric Hematology / Oncology.
