Member Services Specialist
Do you enjoy working in a high-performing, professional atmosphere? The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our friendly, dynamic, nontraditional contact center.
Our member services specialists are at the heart of our nonprofit organization and promote the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession by interacting with members via phone and email. The successful candidate will be highly professional, personable, collaborative and service driven.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly and efficiently gathers member and customer information to fulfill needs, create records and place orders while providing information regarding services and benefits.
- Answers member and nonmember incoming inquiries via all communication channels.
- Completes membership, product, conference orders and related data entry as appropriate.
- Participates in member profile management and account management tasks for members.
- Makes outbound calls and emails.
Successful Candidates Must Meet the Following Criteria:
- High school diploma up to associate degree.
- One to three years of customer service experience, with a passion for resolving customer issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, highly professional work and team environment.
- Possess critical, and analytical thinking skills, and problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Demonstrate polished phone etiquette skills.
- Be able to perform basic tasks of the position, including call handling, data entry, responding to member inquiries via phone and email.
- Demonstrate solid attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Ability to proactively offer ASRT products based on a caller’s need.
