CONTRACT ONLY Accountant – $75,000 (5 Years Minimum Experience)
Manage all accounting transactions. Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. Preparing financial statements. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas. Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position / budget variance. Publish financial statements in time. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely bank payments. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns. Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity. Audit financial transactions and documents. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary. Comply with financial policies and regulations. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. A Bachelor’s degree in the Accounting, Business or Finance is required. Five years of experience required.
