Overview
Part of the manufacturing team, you are the driving force behind the creation of our kitchen and bath products. You will work hands-on with the products themselves, from the handling of raw materials to the shipping of a completed piece. You are responsible for ensuring that all products are properly assembled and manufactured to bring customers a consistently strong experience. Knowledge and attention to all safety protocols is an essential part of keeping our manufacturing operations safe and efficient.
Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervision of the Grand Prairie, Tx manufacturing process from a safety, schedule compliance and productivity perspective.
- Supervise hourly employees within multiple departments
- Train hourly employees in the safe operation of all equipment
- Responsible for safety awareness of all employees under their direction
- Coordinate production changes of product line
- Responsible to meet shift production levels
- Complete shift paperwork
- Communicate with Plant Manager, Production Manager and other supervisors on production related concerns
- Responsible for production, testing, and quality of work performed in the manufacturing process
Qualifications
- Applicable Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
- 1 year previous manufacturing supervisory experience or equivalent required; 5 years preferred.
- Experience with set up and troubleshooting required
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of schematics and prints
- Excellent personal computer skills in a network environment; Microsoft products experience preferred - Outlook-Word-Excel
- CNC and Robotic Knowledge preferred
- Track record of successful project management
- Experience working in a team environment
- Strong planning/Organization & Time Management skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
Hiring Range
The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $54,000-$76,000 annually.
(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
