About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team at Golden State Water Company. As a key member of our internal audit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and gather data for internal audits, researching regulations, company policies, and standards to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
- Communicate results to stakeholders, providing clear and concise insights into audit findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and monitor progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in audit or compliance, preferably in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
- Professional certification as CPA, CIA, or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with JD Edwards accounting software and SOX compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Benefits
Our company offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, paid vacation and sick time, and 12 Company-paid holidays per year. We also offer a 401(k) retirement plan and Defined Contribution Profit Sharing retirement plan.
