Position: Senior Desktop Support Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN
We are looking for a team oriented and technically gifted problem solver to become the next integral member of our Information Technology team. This person will lead our skilled team of Desktop Support Technicians in a fast-paced environment. This person should be a self-starter, solutions oriented, and a high level of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Desktop Support Technicians in a fast-paced environment
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Desktop Support team, including assigning and prioritizing tasks, monitoring team performance, and coaching team members
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting and problem resolution, including root cause analysis, to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devise in a Windows environment
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in desktop support or related field and 2 years of experience in a team lead role
- Experience with network and infrastructure support
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
