OVERVIEW
The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for optimizing Service, Cost and Inventory for their categories. He / she will lead the development and execution of supply chain policies and strategy. The Supply Chain Planning Manager will also provide support to Sales on business growth, capacity assessment, and opportunities for improved profitability. She / he will support Operations and the overall business by providing a long-term view of capacity / inventory requirements. The individual plays a leadership role on the behalf of the go-to-market supply chain team and drives alignment with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Customer Service and Procurement.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own service, inventory and cost measures for his / her categories.
- Collaborate with other functions in order to optimize CTO for his / her categories
- Provide 12 month rolling supply plan for their categories
- Address trade-offs and elevate decision-making as needed.
- Provide category input to the monthly melt plan
- Collaborate with Sales, Demand and SBU on long-term supply plans.
