Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to overseeing Electronic Warfare (EW) technology development programs. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in program management, technical, and business analysis, with at least 5 years dedicated to successfully managing EW technology development programs. This role requires expertise in acquisition and life cycle management, earned value management, and program analysis to support Navy aviation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EW technology development programs, ensuring successful execution aligned with Navy objectives.
- Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program/project objectives, requirements, and performance metrics.
- Conduct technical, business case, and program management analyses, providing actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Track program/project status, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of program milestones.
- Support acquisition and life cycle management activities, coordinating with stakeholders across Navy and DoD.
- Utilize earned value management (EVM) principles to assess program health and risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing program status and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, analysts, and acquisition professionals to align program objectives with mission needs.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s degree (MA/MS) in a relevant field.
Experience:
- Over 10 years of combined experience in program management, technical, and business analysis, with at least 5 years successfully managing Electronic Warfare (EW) technology development programs.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in program management, technical, and business analysis, related to acquisition and life cycle management.
- Minimum of 6 years of recent experience in analysis and planning within defense programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in earned value management (EVM), program scheduling, and program/project status tracking.
- Strong understanding of Navy acquisition processes and defense systems lifecycle management.
