Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing online marketing campaigns across various channels to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and support business growth. This role involves managing SEO, SEM, and PPC efforts, creating and curating content for social media, email marketing, and the company website, as well as analyzing campaign performance through analytics tools. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and uses data-driven insights to continuously improve digital marketing strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities
Website optimization: Enhance the performance, user experience, and functionality of our website to improve conversion rates, increase traffic, and ensure seamless navigation.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts to improve organic search rankings.
  • Ensure that the company website is user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and optimized for SEO.
  • Work with a website management company to ensure the website is optimized for both SEO and user experience.
  • Perform regular site audits to identify technical issues or areas for improvement

SEO and PPC Management: Drive targeted traffic and improved online visibility using knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Pay-per-Click (PPC). Perform keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings. Manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.), optimizing for maximum ROI.

Pay-per-Click (PPC)
  • Manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.), optimizing for maximum ROI.
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve ad performance.
  • Monitor budget and adjusting bids for maximum ad spend efficiency.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and optimize content accordingly.
  • Optimize website content and structure to rank higher in search engine results, improving organic traffic.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and technical SEO audits.

Digital Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns that promote our brand, drive web traffic, and generate leads or sales through online channels.
  • Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor strategies.
  • Set measurable goals and KPIs (key performance indicators) to track the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Manage social media accounts across all relevant platforms (i.e. YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing and Product Innovation teams to design and execute effective email campaigns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to develop consistent and effective marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure that all digital marketing efforts align with the company’s brand and identity.

Analytics and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various digital marketing channels to assess performance and inform decision-making. Use data to help optimize marketing strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to drive business goals.
  • Utilize Google Analytics, social media insights, and other data tools to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure campaign performance and ROI, providing regular reports to management.

Education and/or Experience                                            
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field, 2 years of work experience in digital marketing, or a combination of education and experience. Proven track record in customer engagement and technical support.

Computer Skills                                           
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, Wordpress content management system, HubSpot marketing automation capabilities, and Google Analytics and Google Ads website management reporting tools.
