American Trades Contracting is a leading provider of specialized contracting services in the Southwest. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Tech to join our team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to and from the project site(s) to complete various low-voltage, access control, camera, and audiovisual installation projects according to TST specification.
- Pull and terminate a variety of low-voltage cables, such as Cat5 / 6, fiber optic, alarm, and security cabling.
- Install IP devices and accessories such as wireless access points, security cameras, card access readers, network switches, firewalls, rack-mounted servers, data racks, displays, audio / video integration devices, and other network-connected devices
- Perform service inspections and troubleshoot access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems as required
- Dress and terminate racks and standalone components
- Test and program systems according to specifications in conjunction with the main office
- Conduct prewiring and wiring infrastructure from rough to finish
