Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of security systems and low voltage wiring, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics and the ability to work with various hand tools. The Installer will also be expected to troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality service.
Duties
- Install security systems and low voltage wiring according to schematics and client requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.
- Conduct tests on installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NEC standards.
- Collaborate with team members to build and implement efficient installation processes.
- Detect and troubleshoot issues with existing systems, providing timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to computer networking and locksmithing.
Skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics for security systems.
- Strong experience in building and installing low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and practices.
- Ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in locksmithing is advantageous but not required.
- Solid understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations related to low voltage installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
